Operation and Maintenance of Your Sandscape Painting

1. Understanding the Balance
The sandscape operates through a delicate balance of water, sand, and air. The ideal air gap is approximately 5mm, which allows the sand to flow smoothly and naturally.

• If the sand is falling too slowly, remove some air.
• If the sand is falling too quickly, add a small amount of air.

2. Adjusting for Temperature and Pressure Changes
Changes in temperature or air pressure may require adjustments to maintain optimal performance.

• Each round sandscape includes an air adjustment hole on the frame.
• Tilt the sandscape to gather air bubbles at the hole, allowing sand to move away from the area.
• Use the included air pump to either add or remove air as needed.

3. Maintaining Water Levels
If you notice many small or large air bubbles forming, it may be due to water evaporation. In this case, you can add a small amount of water.

• Always use pure water or boiled and cooled water.
• Choose an air hole, wait until the sand has settled away from it, then remove a small amount of air to create space.
• Use the air pump to carefully add water into the space.
